„Cut Me Some Slack” to utwór, który po raz pierwszy Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl i Krist Novoselic zaprezentowali  podczas charytatywnego koncertu dla ofiar huraganu Sandy w ostatnią środę, 12 grudnia. Studyjna wersja piosenki pojawi się na ścieżce dźwiękowej do filmu dokumentalnego „Sound City”.

Gospodarzem soundtracku będzie Dave Grohl. Na płytę złożą się utwory, które lider Foo Fighters zarejestrował m.in. z członkami Queens Of The Stone Age, Nine Inch Nails, Black Rebel Motocycle Club i Fleetwood Mac.

Film „Sound City” to reżyserski debiut Grohla. Obraz będzie opowiadał o legendarnym studiu w Kalifornii, w którym powstawały tak klasyczne płyty jak „Rumours” Fleetwood Mac czy „Nevermind” Nirvany. Premiera w styczniu.
