Lady Gaga i Ariana Grande uplasowały się na szycie listy nominowanych „MTV VMA 2020”. Obie artystki mają na swoim koncie po dziewięć nominacji. Tuż za nimi znaleźli się Billie Eilish i The Weekend. Cała czwórka powalczy o statuetkę w głównej kategorii, “Teledysk Roku”. W tym roku o tytuł “Artysta Roku” walczą Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Post Malone, The Weeknd, DaBaby i Megan Thee Stallion. Co więcej, podczas tegorocznej gali „MTV VMA 2020” zostaną rozdane statuetki w dwóch nowych kategoriach – “Najlepszy teledysk z domu” i “Najlepszy występ podczas kwarantanny”, których celem jest wyróżnienie pracy artystów w dobie pandemii.
